Flori completed The Uta Hagen Institute Hagen Teacher’s Lab, Part One, at HB Studio and her teaching, coaching and directing subsequently changed. The specificity and human approach to truth on stage became more essential to her teaching methods. An advocate for professional development and following her retirement from Ardsley High School in 2015, Flori enrolled in a series of workshops taught by Carol Rosenfeld over the next year, on her text, Acting and Living In Discovery: a Workbook for the Actor. Flori continues to study acting and is inspired by her colleagues and instructors. Invited to apply to an advanced continuation of the Hagen Teaching Lab, Flori completed Part Two in 2018.
